TechHub Riga, in cooperation with LIAA, announces applications for the “startup School of Schools” training program, which will run for the second year.
The program aims to provide in-depth knowledge of various stages of the development cycle of startups and potential problems under the guidance of high-level international professionals and mentors. The long-term goal of the program is to make Latvia an internationally recognized place where scientific research-based startups exist and are developed, which can attract the attention of representatives of high-tech industries.
The content of the sessions is tailored for teams with prior knowledge and aspiring founders with an understanding of the basic startup principles who want to gain more knowledge from industry professionals.
The program consists of six sessions. Under the guidance of one or more internationally recognized mentors, these six sessions will address the significant challenges a startup faces at the pre-seed and seed stages. For in-depth knowledge acquisition, it will be possible to apply for short consultations with the experts to discuss an individual problem and receive recommendations for solving it. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to improve their presentation skills in a practical workshop and prove them in a pitch competition, where it will be possible to win prizes provided by partner organizations.
"I believe that projects like these are and will continue to embrace the Baltics startup culture to make Baltics more open-minded and more innovative for the new digital era we are running into," shares one of the 2021 training graduates.
